The Triple Filter

A simpler way to choose well

Every object you bring into your life should earn its place. The Triple Filter is a simple framework for choosing products that are functional, calming, and built to last.

Inspired by an

ancient question

The philosophy behind The Triple Filter was inspired by a story widely attributed to Socrates.

According to the story, before accepting or sharing information, people were encouraged to pause and ask three simple questions:

Is it true? Is it good? Is it useful?

whether or not the story is historically exact, its message has endured for centuries because it invites us to become more intentional about what we allow into our minds.

That idea stayed with me.

It made me wonder......

What if we applied the same principle to the things we bring into our homes?

We carefully filter the information we consume because it shapes the way we think.

So why wouldn't we filter the objects thar surround us every single day?

every purchase becomes part of our environment. Our environment quietly shapes our habits, our attention, our emotions, and even our sense of peace.

That's why I reimagined the Triple Filter as a guide for intentional living.

Before something earns a place in my home, I pause and ask different questions.

Does it serve a real purpose?

Will it bring lasting value?

Will it contribute to a calmer, more intentional way of living?

The answers aren't about perfection.

They're about creating a home where every object has meaning, every purchase has intention, and every space supports the life you're trying to build.

Because choosing well isn't about owning less.

It's about making room for what truly deserves to stay.

With intention,

— Blanca

The Three Filters

Three timeless questions that guide every recommendation.

The original Triple Filter encouraged people to pause before accepting information.

We believe those same questions can guide what we choose to bring into our homes.

Before anything earns a place in our recommendations, it must pass three simple filters.

TRUE

Does it solve a real need?

We look beyond trends and impulse purchases. Every item should have a genuine purpose and add meaningful value to everyday life.

GOOD

Will it make life better?

Good design isn't just beautiful. It makes daily routines easier, creates visual calm, and contributes to a healthier, more intentional environment.

USEFUL

Will it continue to serve you over time?

We believe the best purchases are the ones you don't have to replace. We value durability, thoughtful craftsmanship, and products that remain useful long after the excitement of buying has passed.

Because choosing well isn't about owning less.

It's about making room for what truly deserves to stay.

Buy Less. Choose Better.
